I was wondering what people thoughts about grip training. Do you actually train grip or do you feel you get enough grip work from you normal routine? if you do train grip what type of movements do you use?

I once watched a video of Pavel Tsatuoline talking about the best way to increase overall body strength was grip work and abs work. I also remember Ed Coan said he'd take a barbell in a 4-post rack and lay it across the safety bars just high enough to take the weight off the safety bars and just hold it with one hand for time. He also did some things with his fingers but I can't remember what it was.
I think the only thing I really do is hold the barbell at the top on my last rep of a deadlift set for a bit.
It's definitely something we should be doing because the grip tends to make the weight feel lighter and engages more muscle.

I feel like I get plenty of grip work from doing deadlifts as well as hammer curls--those really work your brachialis and brachioradialis (those phil heath forearm muscles).
