Hello my question has nothing too do with use or wanting anyone too go on too the use but just an interesting question towards health. Who out of these 3 subjects strongmen, powerlifters, bodybuilders are healthier and live a better life after they have been on difrent stuff for years? I was allways interested on knowing this but lets keep it basic as examples of people with lots of money arent valid as examples.
thank you.

I’m going to rephrase your question as I understand what you are asking. Who, in the long run will be healthier A powerlifter, strongman, or bodybuilder? If I did rephrase that correctly I don’t think it is a valid question. A person’s long term health has more to do with their genetics and their willingness to train smart and live healthy. It is very individual; a person who is willing to cut corners or partake in questionable practices will do so regardless of the discipline they participate in. Examples can be found of strongmen, body builders, and power lifters who have sacrifices their long term health to advances their carrier.

You are pressing me for an answer that does not exist. Again, it depends more on the individual that it does on the sport. Most of the people I know frequently move from one sport to another and back again. I myself compete both as a strongman and power lifter not to mention highland games and odd lifts (which I guess is another form of strongman) So my answers is I don’t believe that any one sport is harder on, or better for and individual’s overall Long term health than another. It just isn’t a factor.
