Hey everybody, I hate to toot my own horn but yesterday I broke the national record for masters heavyweight with a lift of 275#. Not to shabby for a old fat guy who started lifting only 4 years ago. Oh yeah, I also set the national record for the 45# front hold for time. Now if I could only deadlift.

I competed at the strongest man in western New York at a bodyweight of 300#. I will be 44 in 8 weeks. The axle press is a 2 inch thick bar with tires and weights loaded to 275#. It is a overhead press. The front hold for time was a 45# keg with arms held straight out in front of you back against the wall and hands flat on the sides. The keg cannot move up or down more than an inch. My time on that was almost 47 seconds. ED
