Just to letting everyone know that the Canadian Bench Press Records have been posted (listed under National Records). I did notice that the 100 kg/220 lb weight class has been incorrectly listed as “110 kg”…this will be corrected during the next update. All weight classes and records are listed in both kilograms and pounds. Let me know if you spot any errors or oversights.

Hi 123raw and all Members I am new and very excited there may be a raw power lifting organization starting in Canada, how sweet. The last raw and only one I was in ,was back in 77 in belle river Ontario. My body weight back then was 168 pounds with a 300 bench in that contest, didn't get serous enough and the years went by and now have been training for 4 years. I only do the Bench only contest now, been in 3 shirt contest put on by the Independent power lifting organization in Alberta, a great bunch of guys and strong. Also I like to add in, those shirts are tough to train in and anyone who states they are for wimps ,are not being kind, for I tell you, there are many good raw bencher's that use them and I was one of them. Once you break them in and get used to them you can push a lot of weight but I still think, raw is the true power that show people one;s real strength without any help to push. SO LET THE RAW GAMES COME COMPO
