Just some info on what is going on. We are only 2 months away from our first contest. It will be located in Kirksville, MO. We currently have 5 contests listed on the events page, www.nahighlander.com/Events.html, with 2 more big shows on the way. As of today, meets are scheduled in Nebraska, Missouri, Michigan, Washington & Kansas. Arizona, Utah and New Jersey will be posted soon. I would also like to welcome our newest state chair, Matt Keller of New Jersey. Matt has promoted many contests and brings a ton of experience with him. We are very excited to have him and the Linden Yard Crew onboard. Also, remember September 19. This will be the date of the first annual NAHA Nationals. Entry form, contest hotel and events have been set for over a month. We are already getting some entries in. We will crown a National Champion in each of the 5 divisions. Thanks for all the interest and we hope to see you on the field. D.J. Satterfield

I gave the Abilene event some serious consideration. I was hesitant because it's two weeks before my next PL meet. As it turns out, I'll be out of town that weekend, anyway. I'm very interested in giving this a shot. I think I might be much better built for strongman competition than powerlifting.
Please keep us informed of NAHA events, DJ.

Abilene, KS, indeed! Dino Gym is about 15 miles from my house.
I met with Scott Tully over my lunch break, today. It seems pretty reasonable that I could get to Dino Gym once or twice before 09/19 to get my hands on some implements and give it a go at NAHA Nationals.
